This one day childbirth preparation course provides an evidence-based birth education with the core information needed to birth confidently and feel informed. After this efficient course you’ll leave inspired, empowered, and educated for birth!
 
No matter what type of birth you are planning, this class covers everything that you and your partner need to know about giving birth! Build your community with a small group of other parents-to-be as you learn in a supportive, interactive, and fun environment. (Because of the shortend time, our express class does not include hands on comfort measures or breastfeeding. If you are interested in these topics, please sign up for our additional classes or try our regular Blooma Birth Class)
 
This class is led by a Blooma Educator. Each Blooma Educator is a seasoned birth doula, up to date on birthing practices and policies.

Blooma Comfort Measures Class

Learn to move your body, access tools, and maximize birth-partner support in the Blooma Comfort Measures Class. Reduce tension and build confidence as you work through laboring positions, taking a closer look at what makes you uniquely comfortable. We will guide you with practical tips that will prepare you and your partner for birth! Dress comfortably in pants and layers and be prepared to move and smile. Class recommended for anyone planning a medicated or unmedicated vaginal birth - appropriate for any number of pregnancy.

This class is designed for mothers that have already had a cesarean birth (or two) and want to explore different options for their next birth. This class can be taken at any point in your pregnancy, but taking it in the second trimester is ideal for birth preparation.

What we’ll cover:
• Tips on how to process and further heal emotionally from your previous cesarean birth
• Risks and benefits of VBACs and repeat cesareans for moms and babies
• Common concerns and fears surrounding VBACs and repeat cesareans
• How to choose a birth provider, location, and birth team who will support your wishes
• Writing a birth plan that reflects your wishes
